Chronic Disease Management plans + EPC’s will provide up to 5 subsidised allied health sessions per year. Eligible patients are those deemed to have a chronic medical condition. Please speak to your general practitioner to discuss this further and determine if you are eligible. Please note there visits are not ‘FREE’, medicare will provide a rebate of $58.30 for each appointment.
The amount rebated by medicare for someone on a GP management plan, is significantly less than the normal charge of allied health professional sessions.
Our initial appointments are longer than standard physiotherapy appointments so we can provide a thorough assessment and treatment for our patients.
For more information on rebate amount please see Appointment Fees
