Antenatal Pilates
Antenatal Pilates is a low-impact workout that increases flexibility, strength and muscle tone and is safe to practise during pregnancy. We focus on safe ways to strengthen key muscles, to reduce your risk of developing pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, prepare you for birth & enhance your recovery.

Classes are eligible for health insurance rebates which can be claimed at the time of your class under code 595. We encourage you to check with your health fund to determine your level of cover.
When can I begin?
We recommend commencing classes from 12 weeks into your pregnancy.
Prior to attending our pregnancy class, a 1:1 pre-class assessment is recommended and is required by your health fund if you are planning to claim the classes for a rebate from your health fund.
If you are not planning to claim the classes, we still recommend an assessment with the Physiotherapist to determine what level you are at, if you have any musculoskeletal or obstetric related concerns, we need to be aware of. The classes are small, so we can provide closer supervision and modify exercises to suit your body.
